Ineffable Ontological Detanglement .: Introspective Assistance & Mental Analysis Manual

Anxiety: Foreword by Kit Carruthers
It isn't fear, but if you click it in a moment of fear or find a fear after clicking it, the thing you likely feared when you clicked it, now you're fucking sunk. It may be a chemical imbalance, it may be your life as it is, it may be a lifetime of improper compartmentalization that right now you should be free of but it's still fucking you up. It's not going to come on out of nowhere, that's wrong, you have a heightened threat response system, it's going haywire. If it feels like it's come on out of nowhere, you're working on something semi-consciously or subconsciously that has now clicked semi-consciously and what you're working on is quite likely your improper compartmentalization.

You have a heightened threat response system. No there's nothing ideal about it, your intellectual awareness of threat response will do just fine this isn't giving you any bonuses. However, it can be used. Being aware of your anxiety means you're aware of the fact that you need to cover your bases. You need to OCD paranoid tweak out on your awareness of potentialities, make sure nothing could ever possibly happen that could trigger your anxiety. You don't want to be caught one night, thinking about a potentiality that you've missed, and now it's too late, now you don't know what's going to happen.

If you're a certain type of mess and what you have is very low anxiety, you can kinda learn to like it. Experiencing coming down off stimulants helps you like it. If you like bleak feelings you can learn to get a taste for the threatening death tingles.
